(VBScript) Remove a Range of Chars from a StringBuilder
Demonstrates how to remove a range of chars from the string contained in a StringBuilder object.
Note: This example demonstrates the RemoveCharsAt method which was added in Chilkat v9.5.0.87.
Dim fso, outFile
Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
'Create a Unicode (utf-16) output text file.
Set outFile = fso.CreateTextFile("output.txt", True, True)
' For versions of Chilkat < 10.0.0, use CreateObject("Chilkat_9_5_0.StringBuilder")
set sb = CreateObject("Chilkat.StringBuilder")
' Load a file that contains this string: 0123456789ABCDEF
success = sb.LoadFile("qa_data/txt/remove_chars.txt","utf-8")
' Remove "56789A" from the string.
success = sb.RemoveCharsAt(5,6)
outFile.WriteLine(sb.GetAsString())
' Output is: 01234BCDEF
outFile.Close
