*  This example assumes the Chilkat API to have been previously unlocked.

loCrypt = CreateObject('Chilkat.Crypt2')

lcContent = "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"

*  The desired output is a hexidecimal string:
loCrypt.EncodingMode = "hex"

*  Set the hash algorithm:
loCrypt.HashAlgorithm = "md4"

lcHashStr = loCrypt.HashStringENC(lcContent)

? lcHashStr

*  The output is:
