(C++) Move File to Another Directory on Server
Moves a file from one directory to another. This is accomplished by renaming the file using a filepath that includes the directory.
#include <CkFtp2.h>
void ChilkatSample(void)
{
// This example requires the Chilkat API to have been previously unlocked.
// See Global Unlock Sample for sample code.
CkFtp2 ftp;
ftp.put_Hostname("ftp.example.com");
ftp.put_Username("login");
ftp.put_Password("password");
// Connect and login to the FTP server.
bool success = ftp.Connect();
if (success != true) {
std::cout << ftp.lastErrorText() << "\r\n";
return;
}
// Rename the remote file (or directory)
const char *existingFilepath = "dirA/hello.txt";
const char *newFilepath = "dirB/hello.txt";
success = ftp.RenameRemoteFile(existingFilepath,newFilepath);
if (success != true) {
std::cout << ftp.lastErrorText() << "\r\n";
return;
}
success = ftp.Disconnect();
}
