(C++) FTPS / Implicit SSLDemonstrates how to connect using implicit SSL on port 990. The FTP component connects using SSL on port 990, which is the de-facto standard FTP SSL port. Not all FTP servers support implicit SSL. An alternative is to use AUTH SSL (also called AUTH TLS).
#include <CkFtp2.h> void ChilkatSample(void) { // This example requires the Chilkat API to have been previously unlocked. // See Global Unlock Sample for sample code. CkFtp2 ftp; // If this example does not work, try using passive mode // by setting this to true. ftp.put_Passive(false); ftp.put_Hostname("ftp.something.com"); ftp.put_Username("test"); ftp.put_Password("test"); ftp.put_Port(990); // We don't want AUTH SSL: ftp.put_AuthTls(false); // We want Implicit SSL: ftp.put_Ssl(true); // Connect and login to the FTP server. bool success = ftp.Connect(); if (success != true) { std::cout << ftp.lastErrorText() << "\r\n"; return; } else { // LastErrorText contains information even when // successful. This allows you to visually verify // that the secure connection actually occurred. std::cout << ftp.lastErrorText() << "\r\n"; } std::cout << "FTPS Channel Established!" << "\r\n"; // Do whatever you're doing to do ... // upload files, download files, etc... success = ftp.Disconnect(); } |
