(Android™) Load Certificate from Smart Card by Serial NumberSee more Certificates ExamplesThis example requires Chilkat v9.5.0.87 or greater. It uses a Windows-only function named LoadFromSmartcard. This example loads a certificate specified by its hexidecimal serial number. The LoadFromSmartcard method will examine the connected smart cards and USB tokens and will find and load the certificate having the specified serial number.
// Important: Don't forget to include the call to System.loadLibrary // as shown at the bottom of this code sample. package com.test; import android.app.Activity; import com.chilkatsoft.*; import android.widget.TextView; import android.os.Bundle; public class SimpleActivity extends Activity { private static final String TAG = "Chilkat"; // Called when the activity is first created. @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); // This example requires the Chilkat API to have been previously unlocked. // See Global Unlock Sample for sample code. CkCert cert = new CkCert(); // If you know the smart card PIN, set it prior to loading from the smartcard/USB token. cert.put_SmartCardPin("12345678"); // To load the certificate specified by its hexidecimal serial number, pass the string "serial=<hexSerialNumber>". For example: boolean success = cert.LoadFromSmartcard("serial=4A1E6ADCF59DB1EFBAAE438D2C52664E40D16A87"); if (success == false) { Log.i(TAG, cert.lastErrorText()); Log.i(TAG, "Certificate not loaded."); return; } Log.i(TAG, "Found: " + cert.subjectDN() + " serial=" + cert.serialNumber()); // Here's another example. // Note: serial numbers can be of different lengths. The length of the serial number depends on the certificate. CkCert cert2 = new CkCert(); success = cert2.LoadFromSmartcard("serial=66BE58138D761E92BC594A722932657BE26D421F"); if (success == false) { Log.i(TAG, cert2.lastErrorText()); Log.i(TAG, "Certificate not loaded."); return; } Log.i(TAG, "Found: " + cert2.subjectDN() + " serial=" + cert2.serialNumber()); } static { System.loadLibrary("chilkat"); // Note: If the incorrect library name is passed to System.loadLibrary, // then you will see the following error message at application startup: //"The application <your-application-name> has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." } } |
