(Android™) Mime CurrentDateTimeThe CurrentDateTime property is provide as a convenient way of getting the current date/time in RFC822 format, which is often needed for the MIME Date header field. It is not actually a property of the MIME object. It simply returns the current date/time of the system.
// Important: Don't forget to include the call to System.loadLibrary // as shown at the bottom of this code sample. package com.test; import android.app.Activity; import com.chilkatsoft.*; import android.widget.TextView; import android.os.Bundle; public class SimpleActivity extends Activity { private static final String TAG = "Chilkat"; // Called when the activity is first created. @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); boolean success; CkMime mime = new CkMime(); mime.SetBody("this is a test"); mime.put_ContentType("text/plain"); // The CurrentDateTime property is just a convenient way of // get the current date/time in RFC 822 format. It saves us // the trouble of looking elsewhere for this common need. mime.SetHeaderField("Date",mime.currentDateTime()); Log.i(TAG, mime.getMime()); // The result: // Content-Type: text/plain // Date: Sat, 01 Oct 2016 10:18:49 -0500 // // this is a tes } static { System.loadLibrary("chilkat"); // Note: If the incorrect library name is passed to System.loadLibrary, // then you will see the following error message at application startup: //"The application <your-application-name> has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." } } |
